Brydie Wright is our first guest in our children’s author spots.
Each week we are going to bring you a shining literary light who specializes in children’s books. We hope you enjoy reading about their books and stories, and support them by purchasing a copy of their book to share with your grandchildren.
Brydie is a wonderful, Australian talent.
Not only is she a talented author, and all round great person, but she wrote a book that is sure to be a winner with children all over the world.
While we grandparents may not be fond of the topic, there is no doubt that all children regardless of culture, ethnicity or creed love poo.
It’s just a fact.
They also love anything to do with poo. Or, come to think of it, anything that emits or erupts from that area is just too funny not to share.
The World’s Longest Poo!
Do you ever wonder why daddies disappear for hours on end?
Where on earth do they go?
Based on true events, Daddy and the World’s Longest Poo tells the adventure of a little boy who faces just such a conundrum.
Follow him on a journey of discovery as he tries to make sense of one of life’s great mysteries.
This debut picture book from self-published author Brydie Wright will delight pre-school and early primary readers with its honesty and sense of humour. I’m sure older children will love it too! So too will Mums, Dads and grandparents who will also get a cheeky laugh out of it.
Three years ago motherhood turned her life on its head and sparked her imagination. Brydie now finds creativity through writing about the quirks of family life. Through her tongue-in-cheek tales and blogs, she writes as much for the parents of little readers as for the little readers themselves.
