Today’s very talented children’s author is Helen C. Hipp. Helen has dropped by to discuss her great books – Rosie and Friends: Positively Different and A Different Kind of Safari: Rosie and Friends: – Positively Different . I think you’ll agree that the message Helen shares will be greatly appreciated by parents, and us grandparents too.
Rosie and Friends
Author of children’s book A Different Kind of Safari, Helen Hipp, presents her latest children’s book (for ages four and up), Rosie and Friends: Positively Different. This book is a positive narrative that helps children learn to value themselves and appreciate each other for their differences. Hipp’s books offer hope and insight, that can help parents talk about difficult issues in their child’s world, opening up conversation in a positive way.
A Different Kind of Safari: Rosie and Friends: Positively Different are unique books, inspired by a once-in-a-lifetime trip led by the author’s father to Africa with her 14-year old son Ray, who has special needs. Helen Hipp has created a very effective way to teach children the value of seeing things how they really are instead of how they appear to be. She presents the issue of being different from other children in a way that children can relate to and understand – how to find happiness in spite of the challenges everyone faces.
