About the books
The book series is designed to promote the reading concentration of your little ones (ages 2-8). The story promotes imagination, a love for animals, kindness, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Spanish and Chinese are introduced to broaden little ones’ horizon. These 4 books integrate multiple subjects such as reading, vocabulary, math, biology, nature, behavior, emotion, and safety with fun stories that elicit interactive critical responses. This book series is suitable as a read aloud book for preschoolers or a self-read book for beginner readers.
Where is Dahu? This story happens on the morning of a snowy Christmas Eve. Davy and Magnus have just discovered that their little friend Dahu is missing. Davy and Magnus need to find her, but how?
Book 1: Christmas Eve
This book starts with a Christmas themed learning show. Mr. Juan, a giant panda daddy, needs the panda kids’ help to start his show. Join Davy and his friends for a little fun learning. Throughout the book, beginner readers will be encouraged to use their reading skills to figure out the answers.
Book 2: Dahu is Missing
This story happens on the morning of a snowy Christmas Eve. Davy and Magnus have just discovered that their little friend Dahu is missing. Davy and Magnus need to find her, but how?
Book 3: Dahu’s clues Where is Dahu?
With Grandpa’s help, Davy and Magnus follow the clues left by Dahu. This is a fun learning adventure for little Davy as he will learn dog biology during the search.
Book 4: Carlos the cat Davy and Magnus will meet Dahu’s new friend, Carlos the cat.
These fun characters will learn how Dahu got lost on a snowy Christmas morning and find Grandpa’s special Christmas present. This story teaches the biology of cats while also teach a few C words to increase little one’s vocabulary.
Who are Panda Parents?
Hua and Chris are Panda Parents. Hua loved reading fairy tales when she was little growing up in a big city, and Chris grew up as a high energy, rough and tumble boy in New England.
Hua holds a M.D. and Ph.D. in biology while Chris ended up traveling the world flying fighter jets and is now an airline pilot.
Hua loved reading and learning new things so she became a neuroscientist and she found the best way to learn is to have fun first.
Chris found the ability to learn through reading gives him the greatest freedom.
Together, they write stories for young children.
